Established in 2001 in CA; status changed to a public charity in 2002; status changed to an independent foundation in 2008; supporting organization of the Resurrection Catholic Missions - Founded by the late Clerow "Flip" Wilson, Jr., who was an actor and a comedian. His "Flip Wilson Show" that ran for 4-years in the early 1970's earned 11 Emmy Award nominations and won two. Two of the most famous characters that Wilson created for his show included "Geraldine Jones" and "Reverend Leroy." Mr. Wilson also won a Golden Globe award for Best Actor in a Television Series
