Giving primarily to students with a major in nursing (or a related field of study) at McNeese State University, Louisiana, or other educational organization which provides an approved curriculum in nursing.

Grants to Individuals Program

Scholarships to financially needy full-time undergraduate and graduate nursing students who have graduated from an accredited high school and plan to attend McNeese State University, LA, or other qualified schools.

Nursing School Scholarship Program

Applicants must possess good character, ambitious purpose, and positive qualities, and should be capable of using educational opportunities to enhance personal excellence and to contribute to his/her community. Residents of Allen and Jefferson Davis parishes, LA, will be given priority. Applicants must also be nursing students accepted to or currently attending McNeese State University, LA, except in the case where enrollment precludes the applicant's admission to McNeese. In addition, applicants must have a maximum adjusted gross income, (as determined by the federal tax return) of $20,000 plus $3,000 for each child under the age of 23 residing at home or in school.
