The foundation is committed to philanthropy in four major areas: education, biomedical research, services to persons with psychosocial and psychiatric disabilities, and social welfare. 1) Educational grants support scholarships and innovative academic programs; 2) biomedical research projects focus on the regulation and organization of complex biological systems; 3) services for persons with psychosocial disabilities include innovative rehabilitation programs and clinical research; 4) social welfare programs encompass a wide array of support for the economically under-privileged. Grants in each area are awarded to institutions of the United States and Israeli affiliates.
