Incorporated in 1910 in IL - For more than a century, the institute's Board has implemented the philanthropic intent outlined by Otho Sylvester Arnold Sprague: "...the investigation of the cause of disease and the prevention and relief of human suffering in the City of Chicago."

The forum is a network of individuals, agencies, community and professional groups interested in improving oral health education, delivery and access.

Chicago Health Atlas

A new on-line open source website that aggregates public health, nonprofit and hospital data and maps it by community area and time to assist Chicagoans to better understand health and wellness trends and needs.

CLOCC - The Consortium to Lower Obesity in Chicago Children

Since its founding in January 2003, this network has attracted more than 3,500 individual and institutional members. The group recognizes the complexity of this issue. It goes beyond caloric intake and expenditure to incorporate issues of an active and healthy lifestyle. Members reflect that complexity and include pediatricians; nutritionists; recreation and physical education specialists; urban planners; transportation professionals; community advocates; individuals; food and beverage, exercise, restaurant and vending company representatives; government; and nonprofit representatives. The group recognizes that prevention is currently the best approach and early childhood is the period of life that holds the most promise for this strategy. Adam B. Med Access Chicago

Since its creation in 2007, this prescription drug distribution program has provided donated pharmaceuticals valued in excess of $22 million to select clinics serving the underserved in Chicago. The closed pharmacy is based at CommunityHealth, Chicago's largest free clinic.
