Grants to Individuals Program

Summer seminar for students gifted in the visual arts who have just completed their junior year of high school. Artist studio spaces in New York, NY, to any nonstudent, U.S. citizen or permanent U.S. resident aged 21 or over.

Studio Spaces

Seventeen free studio spaces in New York, NY are offered to visual artists 21 years and older. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent U.S. residents and not in school at the time of residency. Studios are available for use for periods of up to one year. Studios are nonliving spaces for the making of new works of art. No stipend or equipment is provide.

Summer Seminar Program

Three, two-week seminars are held in the summer with full tuition, room and board and all seminar related expenses, excluding transportation, available nationally to artistically gifted high school juniors in public and private schools. The two-week program allows each student to gain a stronger foundation of skills and understanding in the visual arts through experiencing college-level drawing and painting classes in a group setting.
