Established in 2000 in NJ - Founded in the name of the late George Segal, who was a painter and sculptor known in the Pop Art movement. His best known works are cast lifesize figures and the tableaux the figures inhabited. Mr. Segal received a National Medal of Arts in 1999

Giving to exhibit and display the works of George Segal, and to award grants to artists for the pursuit of their artistic endeavors. Grants also to NJ photographers who are over the age of 21, and who are not students.
