Grants to Individuals Program

Scholarships by nomination only to students of State University of New York College at Oneonta.

Scott-Jenkins Foreign Student Scholarships

These scholarships are open to any foreign student who is matriculated at the college. Grants pay for room, board, and/or maintenance costs for students living on campus. Applicants must be recommended by the Dir. of International Education by Aug. 1. Recipients are chosen by Aug. 15.

Scott-Jenkins Foreign Study Scholarships

These scholarships are open to any financially needy full-time matriculated State University of New York College at Oneonta student in a foreign study program sponsored by the State University or Hartwick College. Scholarships cover program costs over and above those which are not covered by financial aid, but not to exceed $500 per student. Candidates are identified by the Dir. of International Education and the Financial Aid Office, and recommended to the selection committee by Apr. 1 for summer, May 1 for fall, and Dec. 1 for spring. Recipients are chosen by May 1 for summer, June 1 for fall, and Jan. 3 for spring.

Scott-Jenkins Memorial Scholarship

These scholarships are open to minority students of State University of New York College at Oneonta. Recipients must be in good academic standing and in financial need. Candidates are identified by the Office of Special Programs and the Financial Aid Office, and recommended to the selection committee by May 1. Recipients are chosen by June 1. Scholarships are renewable.

Scott-Jenkins Work-Grants

These grants are open to any full-time matriculated student. Grants of $750 are paid to financially needy students who work a minimum of 11 hours per week on average for 30 weeks. Interested students must be recommended to the selection committee by Aug. 1. Recipients are chosen by Aug. 15.
