Established in 1982 in CA - Founded by the late cartoonist Charles M. Schulz, who created the comic strip "Peanuts" featuring Charlie Brown. Mr. Schulz received numerous awards including the National Cartoonist Society Humor Comic Strip Award in 1962 for "Peanuts," the Society's Elzie Segar Award in 1980, the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1996 and the Congressional Gold Medal in 2002.
