Scholarships

Scholarships are awarded to African-American high school seniors who have been residents of CO for at least five years, and who have a 3.5 GPA, to obtain undergraduate or graduate degrees. Students who receive the scholarship must then maintain a 2.5 GPA average or better without incompletes or failures and be enrolled for a minimum of 12 credit hours. Awards are made for a maximum of four years. The average undergraduate grant is $5,000 per year. Graduate scholarships are considered on a case-by-case basis only to previous recipients of Sachs undergraduate scholarships. The average graduate grant is $6,000 per year. Recipients may attend educational institutions in any state.
