Giving to organizations that promote and/or provide aid, research, and services in the furtherance of select educational, medical, and social studies programs. Areas of focus include the support of qualified organizations that: 1) conduct public debates; 2) provide training to vocational nursing students; and 3) perform research affecting public policy and achieving widespread dissemination.

Dorothy Rupe Caregiver Program

The mission of this program is to sustain and strengthen certified nursing assistant and home health aide training programs at California community colleges. Grants are awarded to programs providing quality entry-level healthcare training for students, thereby creating economic opportunity for individuals, as well as increasing the availability of CNAs and HHAs in California communities demonstrating a critical need in the direct care workforce. The Arthur N. Rupe Scholarship Fund at the Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara

Awards to students enrolled in vocational or certificate programs in the health sciences at Santa Barbara City College and Allan Hancock College.

The McKeesport High School Alumni and Friends Association, Arthur N. Rupe Foundation Scholarships

These scholarships will be given annually to graduating seniors intent on furthering his/her education at a college, university or technical school. There will be three scholarships, each of $2,000 or more (based upon interest earned in the endowment). See foundation web site for additional information.
