Established about 1970 in NY - Founded by the late Jerome Robbins, who was a choreographer for theater, film and television who won five Tony Awards and two Academy Awards. Among the numerous stage productions he worked on are "On the Town," "West Side Story" and "Fiddler on the Roof," for which he won matching Tony Awards for his direction and choreography. He also shared the Best Director Oscar for the film version of "West Side Story."
