Established in 1998 in WI - The grantmaker is a signatory to Philanthropy’s Promise, an initiative of the National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy (NCRP). Current interests of the foundation are: 1) protecting reproductive rights; 2) developing effective message strategies to safeguard the world's natural environment; 3) reforming media coverage and promoting public awareness of economic inequality; and 4) restoring U.S. democracy by making sure every vote is counted as cast.
