Giving primarily in three areas: 1) programs that work with the homeless, the poor, and other disadvantaged populations, particularly those programs that deal with self-sufficiency through self-help, and programs that provide basic support, food, shelter and clothing, along with job training and employment, are given high priority; 2) homeless prevention - emergency funds administered independently by each agency for rents, mortgage payments, utilities, and food, etc.; 3) private education, primarily secondary education for use for scholarships for poor and deserving students.
