Purpose and Activities

The foundation seeks to provide for and maintain within the limits of the funds to do so, the granting of scholarships to New Jersey residents who have been accepted to osteopathic medical colleges; support predoctoral, postdoctoral and continuing osteopathic medical education; support the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - School of Osteopathic Medicine and when possible, of other osteopathic medical colleges; and improve the practice of osteopathic medicine, enhance public health education and raise the standards of health care of the people of New Jersey.

Grants to Individuals Program

Scholarships to NJ residents accepted into their first year at any approved college of osteopathic medicine.

Scholarship Program

The foundation offers scholarships to New Jersey residents who will be entering their first year of study at a college of osteopathic medicine. Approximately five scholarships are awarded each year. Each scholarship recipient must agree to become a member of the New Jersey Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons, and the American Osteopathic Association.
