Incorporated in 1973 in NY - The foundation is the owner of more than 50% of an office building in Manhattan. The foundation obtained a mortgage to finance the purchase of the building. The mortgage is paid off and at present substantially all of the funds used in the foundation's charitable functions are derived from the rental income of that property

Purpose and Activities

A primary aim of the foundation is to promote harmony and understanding among people of different religions. Another of its basic aims is to promote the study of the humanities, arts, and pure and applied sciences. It also gives to organizations that are involved in the teaching of Islamic or Persian culture.

The foundation established a book distribution program for those unable to purchase these books on their own.
