The foundation enhances the quality of life in Monterey County and surrounding areas through strategic disbursements of charitable funds generated by hosting the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am and the First Tee Open at Pebble Beach. The foundation is guided in grant making by specific areas that include: youth, education, health, human services, arts, community and environmental programs.

Youth Fund

The foundation administers the Youth Fund, which is a youth-oriented fund that awards grants to selected youth-oriented nonprofit organizations and schools in Monterey, Santa Cruz and San Benito Counties. Of the total foundation's grants approved each year, approximately 60 grants are awarded from the Youth Fund, averaging $8,000. Youth Fund grants range from $1,000 - 10,000. The Youth Fund does not make grants to individuals. Recipients must be 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organizations or schools.
