Established in MD - The Security Traders Association, (STA), founded in 1934, is a professional trade organization that works to improve the ethics, business standards and working environment for members who are engaged in the buying, selling and trading of securities. With 29 affiliate organizations nationally and internationally and over 7000 members, STA is the largest organization of its kind in the world. The Mid-Atlantic Security Traders Association is a newly merged organization comprising of the former Baltimore Security Traders, Securities Association of Virginia and the Washington, DC Security Traders Association.
