Grants to Individuals Program

Scholarships to residents of Bedford and Somerset counties, PA, Mineral and Hampshire counties, WV, and Allegany and Garrett counties, MD, for undergraduate, graduate, or professional education at any accredited college or university located in the U.S.

Scholarship Program

Scholarship recipients are selected primarily on the basis of their financial need as computed by the College Scholarship Service from information contained on the FAF and Supplement. The foundation will not normally base any selection of a recipient on his or her past academic performance. Persons applying for a renewal grant, however, will also be evaluated on their scholarship performance during all prior periods of college level education. All persons are eligible to apply for renewal grants provided they resubmit their application and FAF and Supplement for the applicable year and continue to meet the residency requirement. A renewal applicant is not automatically guaranteed a renewal grant.
