Grants to Individuals Program

Scholarships to graduating seniors from Benton, Carrier Mills, Carterville, Christopher, Crab Orchard, El Dorado, Goreville, Harrisburg, Herrin, Johnston City, Marion, Thompsonville, Vienna and West Frankfort high schools, IL, who are seeking medical careers.

Scholarship Program

Scholarships are in the amount of $1,000 to three seniors at area schools (Benton, Carrier Mills, Carterville, Christopher, Crab Orchard, Eldorado, Goreville, Harrisburg, Herrin, Johnston City, Thompsonville, Vienna or West Frankfort) who are planning a career in human health care. Two scholarships of $1,000 are provided to Marion graduating seniors pursuing a career in the human health care field. A $2,000 "R.D. Morgan, M.D." medical scholarship will be awarded to a Marion High School graduating senior who is pursuing a career as a medical doctor. If no graduating senior meets the necessary qualifications, the scholarship will be open to the previously-listed schools.
