Background

Established in 2006 in CO - The foundation was established in 2006 by entrepreneur and philanthropist George Boedecker, Jr. and funded through an endowment from his friend and business partner, Anthony H. Kruse. When Anthony died in July of 2006, he left part of his estate to charity. George Boedecker, Jr., acting as executive trustee of Anthony’s estate, established the Anthony H. Kruse Foundation to serve as a culmination of Anthony’s lifetime of giving and be the cornerstone of his lasting legacy.

Purpose and Activities

Giving to assist in empowering young people to transform themselves and their community. The foundation provides funding and support to nonprofit organizations that provide critical youth development skills training in the areas of education, health and wellness, and family and community development. .
