Incorporated in 1984 in NY - Founded by Rita J. and Stanley H. Kaplan. The late Stanley H. Kaplan was the founder of Kaplan, Inc., the first and largest test-preparation company in America. The company was sold to The Washington Post Co. in 1984 for $45 million.
