Established in 2006 - Founded by Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. Angelina Jolie has starred in the films "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider," "Mr. & Mrs. Smith," "A Mighty Heart," "Wanted," and "Changeling." She has won three Golden Globe Awards, two Screen Actors Guild Awards and an Academy Award for Best Actress in a Supporting role for her performance in "Girl, Interrupted." Jolie also directed the 2011 film "In the Land of Blood and Honey." Jolie is also a Goodwill Ambassador for the U.N. Refugee Agency and has received numerous awards for her humanitarian work, including the Global Humanitarian Award by the UNA-USA in 2005. Brad Pitt has starred in the films "A River Runs Through It," "Seven," "Fight Club," "Mr. & Mrs. Smith," and "Inglorious Bastards." Mr. Pitt won a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in "Twelve Monkeys" and is a four-time Academy Award nominee, which include nominations for his performances in "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," and "Moneyball." In 2014, he won his first Oscar for Best Picture for his work on "12 Years a Slave." Pitt is also an active humanitarian, who in response to Hurricane Katrina helped to finance and construct new houses in New Orleans's Ninth Ward.
