In 2005, he won an Emmy for Outstanding Individual Performance for his hosting of the 2004 Tony Awards. In 2012, he won a Golden Globe for Best Actor for his work in "Les Miserables." Deborra-Lee Furness, Jackman's wife, is an Australian actress, director and producer. She has appeared in several movies, including "Newsies" and "Jindabyne." Hugh Jackman is a signatory to the Hollywood Pledge, to which celebrities pledge to support and list specific charities or causes important to them, while encouraging fan interaction in the hope that their fans will be educated about, and also support, these charities or causes
