Essay Competition

The IACF Essay Competition is open to high school students of Italian descent at participating schools, and all students at participating colleges. Students read a text from the foundation's Literary Collection, which has been donated to each school's library. Students prepare an essay discussing how the test influenced their perspective on Italian American heritage. Essays are judged by a Committee of Academics for content, insight, knowledge, style, grammar and punctuation.
