Purpose and Activities

Upon his death in 2002, Peter Dalebrook created a trust in memory of his parents, Ilse and Charles with whom he immigrated to the United States in 1935 from Germany. Peter had an interest during his lifetime in helping those who were unable to help themselves and to provide for those whose circumstances had left them in unfortunate situations. He wished to help the poor and minorities who have been treated badly, including children forced to attend school in terrible condition, families forced to live in unacceptable housing and individuals or groups of people whose legal rights have been threatened. He would prefer to help people closer to the beginning of life than the end of life. Priority is given to organizations whom Peter supported during his lifetime.
