Institut Francais de Washington

Four $1,500 awards for maintenance (not travel) during research in France for a period of at least one month. French studies are in the areas of art, economics, history, history of science, linguistics literature and social sciences. Upon return the awardees will send a brief report to the Institut Francais d'Amerique about their research and what they have completed in France. All awards are made through the Gilbert Chinard Research Fellowships, Harmon Chadbourn Rorison Fellowship and Edouard Morot-Sir Fellowship in Literature programs.
