Established in 2004 in MI - Founded by Allan Houston, a former professional basketball player who played for the New York Knicks and Detroit Pistons. During his career, Houston was a two-time All Star. Houston is currently the Assistant to the President for Basketball Operations for the New York Knicks.

The mission of the foundation is to facilitate individual and collective growth through initiatives that restore strong family units, provide economic empowerment through entrepreneurship, encourage education and life skill development, as well as enhance spiritual growth.
