Purpose and Activities

The organization gives through three funds: 1) The General Fund, which is unrestricted giving; 2) The Zipporah M. Solomons Fund, which is restricted to medical services and/or need for citizens of the Metro Charleston Area. 3) the N. Edgar Miles, M.D. Scholarship Fund provides college or graduate scholarships for South Carolina residents and high school graduates up to $4000 per year based on academic excellence and financial need. Students may attend any college or university of their choice.
