The mission of the foundation is to improve the health of the neediest and most underserved residents, with particular emphasis on women and children, of central Orange County, CA, through both independent and collaborative grantmaking activity.

This is a year-round program providing funding directly to community-based nonprofit organizations or collaboratives, to improve access to health information and health care for low-income families in Orange County, CA. There is no dollar cap on grants, the average grant is $9,500. Healthy Orange County funds are also used to provide technical support and capacity-building activities for programs working to improve the health of Orange County's low-income families. Partners for Health

This program offers an opportunity for one or more nonprofit hospitals in Orange County, CA, to provide stewardship to a collaborative of community providers and the hospital itself, to offer services consistent with the foundation's mission.
