Grass Fellowships in Neuroscience

The fellowship provides support for an outstanding young clinician who wishes to invest two years in basic science research training in preparation for an academic career. Eligible applicants must be M.D.s who will have completed a residency in neurology, neurosurgery, or psychiatry prior to beginning the fellowship. Any concurrent clinical service responsibilities must be limited so as not to interfere with research training. The award provides for a yearly stipend of $40,000 with an additional $4,000 per year available for research expenses and travel to one scientific meeting. An additional letter of recommendation from the residency supervisor should be included, as well as the candidate's and sponsor's CV.

Robert S. Morison Fellowship
