Feature-Film Production Grants

These grants of up to $10,000 each, awarded each winter and summer, are given to filmmakers whose work exhibits artistic excellence, authentic self-representation, and accomplished storytelling. Grants are used to support the completion of film production and subsidize post-production costs, such as laboratory and sound mixing fees and access to modern editing systems. Grant applications will be accepted from applicants from the following regions: Latin America; the Caribbean; Africa; the Middle East; Asia (excluding Hong Kong, Iran, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and Taiwan); and Oceania (excluding Australia and New Zealand). Eligible films must be feature-length (above 65 minutes) narratives that take place exclusively in the regions from which applications are accepted, and that are not documentary or short film submissions; may be in pre-production, production, or post-production; and must already have substantial production funding in place.
