Established in 1969 in MO - Founded by John F. and Mary A. Geisse. The late John F. Geisse was the founder of The Wholesale Club, Inc. (now a division of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.) and of Venture Stores, Inc., formerly a division of May Department Stores, Inc., and he was also a co-founder of Target Stores. The foundation is funded exclusively by contributions from John F. and Mary A. Geisse.
