Background

Established in MI - Founded by Sergei Fedorov, a former professional ice hockey player, who played for the NHL's Detroit Red Wings, the Anaheim Ducks, the Columbus Blue Jackets, and the Washington Capitals. He is currently the general manager of CSKA Moscow of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Federov has received numerous awards, including the 1994 Hart Memorial Trophy for being the league MVP, and currently holds the record for most goals by a Russian-born player in the National Hockey League.

Purpose and Activities

Giving primarily for children's services including scholarship funds for academically or athletically outstanding financially needy students generally between the ages of 10 and 14. Both U.S. residents non U.S. residents seeking to study stateside are eligible.
