Established in 1964 in CA - Founded by Kirk Douglas and his wife Anne Douglas. Kirk Douglas is a legendary film actor who was seventeenth on the American Film Institute's list of the greatest male American screen legends of all time. Among his numerous films are "The Big Sky," "Spartacus" and "Gunfight at the O.K. Corral." In 1996, he received a special Oscar for "50 years as a moral and creative force in the motion picture community."
