Trust established in 1957 in PA, and originally comprised of four separate trusts: T/W of Henry Dolfinger as modified by will of Mary McMahon; 1935 D/T of Henry Dolfinger as modified by will of Caroline D. McMahon; Residuary T/W of Caroline D. McMahon; Dolfinger-McMahon Trust for Greater Philadelphia. In 1986 the 1935 D/T of H. Dolfinger was merged with the residuary T/W of C. McMahon

Purpose and Activities

Primary areas of interest include community development, the disadvantaged, education, the handicapped, and health. Emphasis on experimental, demonstration, or seed money projects in race relations, aid to the handicapped, higher and secondary education, social and urban programs, church programs, and health agencies. Emergency funding will be made rarely and, once made, will disqualify the agency from receiving any additional funding for the succeeding three years.
