Background

Established in TX - Founded by Mark Cuban, a billionaire entrepreneur. He started a company called MicroSolutions that he later sold to CompuServe, and another company called Broadcast.com, which was acquired by Yahoo! for $5.9 billion in stock. He is Chairman of the HDTV cable network AXS TV, as well as owner of the NBA Dallas Mavericks, Landmark Theatres, Magnolia Pictures, and investor "shark" in TV's "Shark Tank." In 2011, Cuban authored the e-book "How to Win at the Sport of Business."

Purpose and Activities

Giving primarily for living assistance for families of U.S. military personnel who were killed or seriously wounded in Operation Iraqi Freedom. The foundation will also proactively contact families of U.S. military personnel who were killed or seriously injured during the same military operation.
