Established in TX - Founded by Ray Childress, a former professional football player. Childress played as a defensive lineman for the Houston Oilers (1985-1996) and Dallas Cowboys (1996). From 1988 to 1993, he was named to the Pro Bowl five times. He is also the chairman and C.E.O. of the Ray Childress Auto Group as well as a limited partner for the Houston Texans.

The foundation was established to reward graduating seniors who have demonstrated perseverence in the face of adversity and the ability to withstand negative peer pressure.

Leadership Award

It is available to graduating seniors who have demonstrated leadership qualities and might not otherwise be able to attend undergraduate or vocational and/or technical education and or training institutions.
