Awards Program

The Crown of Torah Award and The Diadem of Jurisprudence Award were established to assist individuals to become rabbis, teachers, and leaders. Each award recipient receives $25,000. Recipients study for five years under the supervision of Roshei Yeshiva and great rabbis. The recipient of The Crown of Torah Award studies the Talmud, Rashi, Tosefos, the Ri'f, and the Ro'sh intensively. The recipient of The Diadem of Jurisprudence Award studies the Laws of Shabbos in Orach Chayim; the Laws of that which is Forbidden and that which is Permitted; Ritual Cleanliness and Interest in Yoreh Deah; and the Laws of Judges in Choshen Hamishpat. He must aspire to be ordained with the Ordination of Scholars according to the Torah, and to be accepted to the glorious position of a righteous judge. At the end of the five-year program, they will be examined on the Talmudic and other knowledge that they acquired during the entire period.
