Background

Established in 1999 in NY - Founded by Barry Weissler, a Tony Award-winning Broadway producer. Mr. Weissler and his wife Fran Weissler have produced such Broadway shows as "Violet," the 2013 revival of "Pippin," "The Scottsboro Boys," the 2010 revival of "La Cage aux Folles," the 1999 revival of "Annie Get Your Gun," the 1990 revival of "Fiddler on the Roof," the 1996 revival of "Chicago," and the 1989 revival of "Gypsy," along with many other Broadway plays and musicals.

Purpose and Activities

Giving primarily to provide funding to nonprofit organizations that advocate arts education initiatives, to underwrite educational programs that provide interdisciplinary curriculum-based approaches to the arts, to encourage and inspire future artists to participate in a variety of theatrical experiences, and to build attendance through the provision of economic and resource support.
