Grants to Individuals Program

Interest-free loans to students from Sheridan, Campbell, and Johnson counties, WY, and from Powder River, Rosebud, and Southern Big Horn counties, MT, for postsecondary education.

Student Loan Program

Loans are made for higher or vocational education for recipients selected on the basis of financial need and academic achievement. Applicants must be under the age of 25 to be eligible for academic loans. There is no age limit for vocational loans. Recipients must have at least a 2.5 GPA and maintain full-time status. Both of the recipient's parents must co-sign the loan note. Recipients must also carry life insurance with a collateral assignment to the foundation in an amount at least equal to the amount borrowed until graduation and it must be kept in force until the loan is repaid in full. Loans are automatically renewed provided the recipient maintains eligibility.
