Established in 2005 in MA - Founded by entrepreneur and businessman Ernie Boch, Jr. Mr. Boch is the president and C.E.O. of Boch Enterprises, and is the founder and member of the band Ernie and the Automatics.

The foundation supports music in New England, and seeks out organizations and individuals that are interested in using music as a tool for all segments of society and for all age groups.

Scholarships to worthy individuals in the New England area to attend music camps, programs and instruction.

Musical Performance Grant

These grants support free music concerts by compensating musicians their expenses. Grants also help musicians set up their own concerts, ensuring that the money is used to bring music to areas that could not otherwise afford it.

Organizational Grant

Grants help organizations that support musical education by assisting in the formation of dedicated music rooms in which to learn music. The foundation works with New England area schools, after school programs, hospitals and nursing homes to build musical education facilities. The foundation also provides technical assistance to grant recipients.


Scholarships are provided to attend music camps, programs, and colleges. Scholarships recipients are required to teach a set number of hours of musical education per month to younger students.
