Professional Program

Grants or interest free loans to eligible individuals of the Harrisburg School District. Applicants must demonstrate initiative, a desire to improve themselves, a need for financial assistance and that the course of study to be pursued will improve their professional skill, ability and understanding. Each applicant must sign a statement agreeing to continue on the faculty or staff of the Harrisburg School District for a minimum of two years after completion of the course of study for which the assistance is granted.

Student Program

Grants or interest free loans are awarded to graduates of selected Harrisburg area schools who want to continue their education at approved institutions of higher learning including, but not limited to colleges, universities, junior colleges, community college and business, technical and professional schools. Applicants must demonstrate strong initiatives, a desire for self-improvement and financial need.
