Established in 2000 in CA - Founded by Michael Moritz and Harriet Heyman. Michael Moritz is a businessman and venture capitalist with Sequoia Capital. Prior to Sequoia, Moritz was reporter for Time Magazine, and wrote the book "The Little Kingdom: the Private Story of Apple Computer," as well as co-authored "Going for Broke: The Chrysler Story" (with TIME's Detroit bureau chief). After leaving Time, Moritz co-founded Technologic Partners, a technology newsletter and conference company. Harriet Heyman is a former journalist for The New York Times, and a novelist known for her book "Between Two Rains." Michael Moritz and Harriet Heyman have committed to The Giving Pledge, and have pledged to give away at least half of their wealth to philanthropy
