Support for hospitals; Jewish and other welfare funds; higher and legal education and educational programs for minorities; social service agencies, including those for youth, child welfare, minorities, the aged, and the handicapped; arts and cultural programs, including dance; and environmental concerns, including Central Park in New York, NY.


Incorporated in 1942 in NY - An attorney, banker, and philanthropist, Mr. Moses was a partner in the law firm of Moses and Singer and was director, counsel, and chairman of the Public National Bank and Trust Co. Upon its merger with Bankers Trust Co., he became a director of the latter bank. Mr. Moses was a leader in the field of hospital philanthropy in New York City. In addition to making major contributions to hospitals, he was affiliated for 39 years with Montefiore Hospital, first as president and later as chairman of the board. He was also a director and member of the planning commission of the Hospital Council of Greater New York and a member of the council of the United Hospital Fund. Both Mr. and Mrs. Moses were active in a number of charities, particularly in Jewish welfare activities
