Purpose and Activities

In New York City, the foundation focuses on helping people out of poverty and leading independent, productive lives, in the issue areas of education, employment, and human/social services. In Cooperstown, the foundation supports a number of nonprofit institutions and provides funding for the environment and for a local scholarship program, as well as programs including The Clark Sports Center and Mohican Farm. The foundation also underwrites management training on a case by case basis to existing grantees.
