Purpose and Activities

Giving primarily for the township of Sheridan, WY. The foundation also provides interest-free student loans to men and women with modest financial assistance, so they may pursue undergraduate academic and vocational studies. Applicants should either be graduates of high schools in Sheridan and Johnson counties, WY, GED recipients from Sheridan County, WY, or individuals who have had at least seven years of continuous residency in Sheridan or Johnson County immediately prior to applying for a loan .


Incorporated in 1927 in WY - The foundation was created under the last will and testament of Mr. Edward A. Whitney, who passed away in 1917
