Purpose and Activities

Giving primarily for the healthy development of Jewish identity and the observance of Jewish laws and traditions. The foundation's interests are to: 1) promote access to Jewish education at all levels as the path to cultivating a strong Jewish identity; 2) ease the financial obstacles to families committed to day school education; 3) reinforce the value of family learning to strengthen the impact of Jewish day school education; 4) unify the educational messages at school and at home so that Jewish living and learning are fortified; and 5) inspire life-long learning and the conviction that the Jewish person's pursuit of learning, questioning and refining is never complete. .
