Giving for formal education programs in nursing which are geared toward preparation of RNs qualified to serve as faculty members in college and university schools of nursing or, alternatively, which qualify RNs for independent advanced practice nursing (e.g. as a licensed CRNA, Nurse Midwife, Family Nurse Practitioner, etc.); development or operation of technical or vocational education and training programs (including apprenticeships) for high school and college-age students and out-of-work adults; emergency food assistance; and rural mobile health screening/care projects benefitting the uninsured medically needy.
