Purpose and Activities

Areas of major support include: 1) programs dealing with chemical dependency, chiefly alcoholism, and its effects on children and their development; 2) programs in the arts; and 3) programs addressing the treatment of racism, prejudice, and exclusivity. Within these 3 areas of primary interest, the foundation provides seed grants to pioneering programs. Also provides continued support of traditionally funded programs in conservation, education, and health. The foundation grants funds only to organizations that operate without prejudice.
