Established in 2001 in PT; Created in April 2001, the Vodafone Portugal Foundation is a self-funded, non-profit organization established to help develop the information society, combat info-exclusion and disseminate mobile communication technologies. Over its 12 years of existence, the Vodafone Portugal Foundation has backed more than 60 projects in areas such as healthcare, education, safety, the information society and environment, with other areas of focus such as agriculture and ocean resources, making it a cornerstone of Vodafone Portugal's social responsibility strategy.
